Too much glue, 20 years ago

    what do ya'll think, glue dribble 20 years ago finally let go.

    if they had used sch40, would it have lasted 40 years,

    i always wondered where they got those numbers from, all makes sense now

    Does it look/feel like it was pressurized while the pipe wall was still soft from the excess cement?

    this was on the mainline, so charged all the time. i think it started as a pinhole and then nibbled out where the glue had been pooled up. it was located in a bed on the back of the property at a commercial building. so not sure how long it ran.

    in fact, meter reader left a note on office door that meter was spinning and he saw no sprinklers running. very nice of him, usually they just wave the wand and keep going.
