Yesterday we had a couple of them blow through up here with lots of damage.
One of them (the weaker F1) was within 2 streets of one of the houses i do out in nassau.

That one ripped the roof off of the agway store in the village and of a couple houses near there. One house has already been condemned.

That ain't upstate my friend.
A funnel was spotted near here too. no damage reported, but flash floods have made a serious mess.

I talked to my family up in Elmira, and they said it was pretty rough up there with the storms and the rain. My Grandmother's neighbor lives in Elmira part of the year and Florida part of the year. She told her those storms reminded her of the storms they get in Florida. We've had some pretty good ones here in East Tennessee this year as well. Lots and lots of rain, too. :dizzy:

As far as i'm concerned anything above NYC is considered upstate.:D .

The Nassau i'm talking about is across the river from Albany, near East Greenbush,NY not the other one down state.

I have a friend with a weekend home in Claryville that got hit pretty hard.

We got some high winds here for a few minutes, but never lost power and had only a few small branches come down.
