just how fast can you go with a velky, on a toro proline wb belt drive 36
Downhill or uphill?
as fast as the mower will go but make sure you take off slowly or you will spin the tires.
They say 6.2 mph but I dont have many lots that allow me to reach that speed. be it size or bumps
i personally dont like velkeys on belt drives at all
how fast you can go and how fast you can mow are 2 diff things
how fast can you mow, will it wear out the trans.
Probably reach at least a 100 mph droped out of a helicopter.
On the serious side I would say mow smooth terain at roughly 4.5 max pending growth, how wet it is and what type of turf grass you are going through.
If you are cutting .25 of an inch in dry thin turf you could probably hit 5 almost 6 mph.
average cutting speed is 4 mph
Never had a trans problem. 4 years up and down hills, the belt drive gets the hardest use of all our mowers
