Which mower would you guys get, a Toro Floating Deck Hydro Drive or an Exmark TTHP?
Both very good mowers. (same company) Which feels better in your hands.
I like the red ones!
really its the same company?...didn't know that
If I am not mistaken the floating deck hydro Toro employs an SFS deck, on my turf type and conditions, the SFS sucks. I like the Exmark, the tri-advantage is a better cutting deck than is the SFS, cuts very good and stripes well stock right out of the crate. The Exmark chops up clippings much better than the Toro SFS deck.If the SFS cuts 2-inches off of the grass blade, 2-inches is discharged out the discharge chute. We have no experience with the other choices of mowers on the list.
SFS on our 44"s and yes we did have that problem if the grass was really long. The 36"s all had the same deck as the Vikings (fixed) and got a great cut from them, 48's were all tri advantage Ex-Marks, The ECS felt great compared to pistol.
I believe Toro is putting the Turbo Force under some of the W/B now
