I am looking for a Z to replace a 1998 Toro Z. My dealer has 2 leftover Z 100 with extras and a great price. Z 400 was my choice, but most of my lawns are postage stamp sized, so the 100 would work great. Any opinion sfrom anyone with the Toro Z 100??

I had a Z147, the 44 inch model, great, quiqk little macine if you discharge or mulch. If you add the bagger, it's a little under powered and wide. For bagging, get a walker.

    I traded my 44 for a 52 Z157 I think and bought a walker w 48 GHS

I just bought the Toro Z449 (52" with 19hp kawasaki). I do alot of small yards too and so far this thing is great...cuts pretty, easy to handle. I dont know alot about the Z100's though.

The Z100 is a great mower, especially for the money. That is,if you get the old Z100,not the new model Z100.The newer model has some tiny rear tires plus a few other things they've cut to save on cost.My dealer said he won't sell any because he just doesn't like them. They had one in the showroom. It looked lonely.
