Prgressive 521 but now its owned by Tempo I think.
Progressive, or PEI, was bought by Textron (which also owns Greenlee, Homelite, Jacobsen, Cessna and Bell Helicopters) and the new division was named Tempo.

The way I heard it, eighty something PEI people were laid off right after the acquisition.

Some of them formed Pro-Tech which moved this year from Arizona to Michigan, and has been renamed Armada Technologies...

Tempo recognized the advances in the Pro-Tech 600, adopted them and call it the 521A. I was told neither company has patent protection against the other.

Armada responded with a supposedly better model, which they released only about 3 weeks after I bought my 600...

The Pro700 builds on the success of the original Pro600 model. In addition to a 27 inch receiver, external speaker, and "D" transmitter battery power, the Pro-700 adds advanced electronic circuitry to minimize 50-60hz AC noise for a clearer, cleaner sound. The Pro-700 also has enlarged analog meters for easy viewing of power levels on the transmitter and receiver.

Here is the PE 2003. Armada is supposedly working on their version too.

That PE 2003 looks awesome, I'm sure it also costs a whole bunch of $$. I am searching ebay and craigslist somesthing used.

Thanks for all the info..
Just bought a 2003 on eBay for 400 and (another) 521 for 425, both used. Got the 521 yesterday, can hardly tell it's used, but have seen some beat-up looking stuff posted. Be careful.

Thanks for the heads up on used, I will also check around here, supply houses, maybe pawn shops, etc...

If worse comes to worse, I looked at a new one...:)
If you find it in a pawn shop it was stolen.

I've heard that some supply houses will sell theirs off after 10 rentals. 400 or so. check in dallas.
