Trailer buying question.

    If you buy a trailer and you are trading one at the time of purchase do you have to pay sales tax on the difference, like with a vehicle or do you have to pay the full retail of taxes??:waving:

    Not sure. I imagine each state has different rules. Call your local license bureau.

    you will pay the difference. your paying taxes on the $$ amount not so much the item itself. taxes on the item itself is called property tax, somethign that is paid yearly on the items your business owns.
