I have a 16' x 7' trailer that I'm looking for a gate for. I've had the trailer for a year now and can't find one that fits it. When I bought it new I wanted to get something I could pull the bobcat with as well as my mowers and figured I could find a gate for it later. I've thought about making my own gate for it with the ramps built into it, but thought buying one would be the better way to go.

anyone know where you can get gates?

Go to local trailer dealers. Sure they could get one built for ya.

If they need to beef it up it will add extra weight so then you might want to get or build a "back saver "gate system lift.

A trailer dealer will be able to set up with both the "beefed" up ramp and the gate lift assist.

Unless you are near the mfg of that trailer, you'll probably need to have a gate fabricated.

Suggestion: That wide a gate, made to be sturdy enough to hold a skid steer will be pretty heavy. Consider a split gate.
