My trailer was over 15 years old so a few changes.

Cage built for shovels. I don't want to put them in my new truck bed.:D

I had a piece of plywood hanging from steel cables.

Was using 2 big C clamps to hold spare on.

Had to make these so they couldn't just bend tab to steal trimmers ....which they did

Son used our $8 purple spray gun from Harbour Freight....worked great

Can't tell you how helpful it has been to get that welder ....and son trained up on it.:bluebounce:

I’d watch that spare tire mount. I’ve replaced countless broken 2 bolt spare mounts when I was in the welding field. They will usually break the studs off. Trailer bounces and twists the mount. I always use no less then 3 studs/bolts on a spare tire mount. Except for the very first time I built one, tire passed me going down the street at 55. That was hard to watch.
