I just bought a 16' X 6 1/2' tandem trailer. When I got home I tried to back it on to my driveway to put it in the garage. The back end of the trailer would get caught on the driveway. I have read that you can get heavy duty casters to put on the back rail of the trailer. Where can I get some, and what kind of damage will the metal casters do to my driveway? Any solutions please. Thanks in advance

i wouldve hoped you tried this, but have you tried to back in at an angle. if you do it that way, back in so the tire hits incline first and then cut the wheel. most trailer places sell the little casters you can put underneath the trailer.

hahaha...yeah I tried that. I'm new but I am not that new! Thanks though. How about tearing up the driveway with the casters. Should that be a worry?

Try lowereing the front of the trailer. If you have a reciever hitch, use a lower drop on the front, which will raise the back.

Go heavy duty on the casters. Check with dumpster companies and see what they have.
I agree with last post also, try to lower trailer @ truck.
