My brake lights work fine on my trailer when my truck lights are off, But when i have my running lights on or headlights, when the brake is applied, the brake lights on the trailer do not go on, the running lights turn off on the trailer and everythings out, any ideas?

I had that problems several years ago, I just rewired the whole trailer, and switched to all LED lights.

yeah best thing is to wire you're trailers yourself, 2 things trailer companies suck at is wiring and paint for the most part.

Probably a ground problem? Run a separate ground wire directly from a self-tapper on the hitch to a self-tapper on the trailer, with a little snap together crimp thing in the middle so it comes apart and back together easily. Solved all my problems. Except the black lab that chews 'em all apart once a week.
