Hey guys im in need of some new tires for my trailer. Ive been looking around and not seeing to much besides carlisle (which ive heard not so favorable things about). If you guys could give me some recommendations that would be great. Im looking for 205/75/15 for my 16ft.

I got some generic off brand tires last year at the local tire shop. I can't remember the name but this will be the first year that i will not have to buy new tires in the Spring. I'll look ths weekend and post back.

Unless you are hauling really heavy equipment, you would be OK with just using old car or truck tires. I have always put used tires on my trailers, and have never had any trouble. I haul 3 full size WBs normally. I will usually just run them till they fall apart, then go get another $15. tire to replace it. But if you are hauling alot of weight, you should go with normal 8 or 10ply trailer tires.

i buy the el cheapo Primewell 205 75 15 car tire for my trailer, I have been using them for almost 2 years, and they work just as good as the standard over priced trailer tires. $110 out the door for 2 tires.

you just have to carry the tires in and dont tell them that its for a trailer, some places will give you crap about it, of course dont get it balanced either...

Same here, I find buying a new cheap tire will last more than 3 times longer and alot less to deal with.

Check out www.tirerack.com and search for the size and you'll get quite a few trailer tires that can be had. Not all necessarily in your area, but at least it'll give you some ideas.

My brother buys used tires from some place online, cant remember the name of it, but he says he can get decent used tires for around $10.-$15. each plus shipping too though, but i dont think its that bad, he said they tape them together and ship it like that, no wrapping or packaging, just tape to hold them together! Then you just take it someplace to be mounted on you rim. Easy. Most places here want at least $50. for used tires!
