Lowes has some heavy duty grey cans. I think they are about $40.00 and 40 gallon size. I have some and have been using them outside for years and they haven't cracked, etc.

I like my 45 gallon cans. They work great, they have a lid, and they are cheap so I can beat them. I've had them almost a year and use them daily and their still doing good. Just a thought, I think I paid $14 a piece for these and they work just fine and dandy. Good luck on the quest

Lesco sells them and I have seen geniune ones at the homedepot they are called "carry barrel" or sometimes you will see them called "The Original carry Barrell" real ones are expensive 65.00 75.00 each. knock offs are cheaper and slightly smaller

I just mow small lawns and I was buying the rubber-maid cans with lids, they would hold up for two years and I can put 8 in my truck bed, but now I have found some at Wally-world that are black and seem to be much more durable for $3 bucks less, also the lids off the rubber-maid cans lock onto these cans much tighter, I have had one fly off once and was having to tie the lid on so that would not happen, I like that size because they carry well resting on the top of the Toro 21" mower empty or full after I finish the area.
