Needing help on bidding a tree lighting job. I will be using C9s but just need to get a length idea. It's a pine tree and I will be doing one row every few feet so nothing special. I saw a post that said to figure the diameter x the number of times you want to wrap your tree but that seems a little short to me. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

I actually just finished it this week and haven't had a chance to update my posting. The formula above sure wasn't accurate. I bid it by finding the circumference, estimating the height and alot of guessing. I guessed I would need 275'. I used 240' the calculator said 233.3' so that's dang close. I'm sure I wasn't evenly spaced. Thanks again, I am saving that for next year!!
