big mistake,i hate it.sounds awfull and i dont think it cuts all that well.i wanted to try meg-mo's but now i dont know if they will cut the same as the doubles or not.i also think it puts a great strain on the clutch.whatta yall think?

Well, unless someone else confirms that it is all right to run doubles, this story has detered me from getting the double gators for now. I will just run single gators then!

Adjust your engine rpm (low to medium range) and just engage the clutch enough that the mower will not stall. We've been using double high lifts and double gators for years and have had absolutely no problem other than baffle blowout in the front of the deck.

I ran doubles for a few months, It caused way to much blowout, so I took them off.

Double highlifts by far the best setup for my 757's, I run them all the time except during the drought.
