Does hard water have any effect on chemicals. I use Trimec Classic and Round-up Pro the most. Some times I have good luck killing weeds but sometimes ****. Let me know if anyone has any thoughts.

There is no mineral concentration that will inhibit your herbicide's effect.

Hey, If the iron is high enough, you might even get some benefit.

More than likely, your **** results are due to other factors. Remember, you must fill your water first then add the herbicide, then agitate, then purge the line to get an even mix. (add the weed stuff first and you might have concentrate built up in the lines where the first 2,000 square feet gets nailed and the rest gets a 1/2 dose).

Maybe the sprinklers popped just after the app.

Too many variables to mention. That's why the label guarantee reads as it does.

Even a bag of simple fert won't guarantee that the lawn will turn green and grow!
