Trimmer line thickness

    What's the main differences with trimmer line thickness?

    the thicker the line the longer its going to last (in general) however thicker line will tear grass rather than slice it like thinner line will. torn grass will "yellow"

    .080 for me, because my guys will break the string before tearing up a tree etc.

    .95 Gator Line, lasts alot longer than the Echo Crossfire .95 I was using, doesnt seem to tear up tree's any worse than any of the other lines.
