it all depends on how many hours a week and the type of use it will have on it. I dont know much on stihl but the more hours and power you need the higher the model you use.

I recently bought a new stihl backpack blower. I dont remember the model number( i think 340 something) but it was the entry level COMMERCIAL blower...I think as long as you go with commercial equipment, it will be ok

Go with the Stihl Br420C Magnum. Its a great blower to blow off clippings and driveways. During the fall, i think it does a good job with the leaves, although i have never tried redmax. But i would go with that model..
