I am looking to upgrade to a rider. I have a 2001 model JOhn Deere HD75 Hydrostatic 54" cut walk behind with electric start. It has the ever reliable 17hp kawasaki. It has about 900 hours on it and performed excellent maint. Comes with jungle wheels sulky. I recently took the deck totally off and repainted it. Looks great, and runs great... I was gonna try and get $2000. Am I out of line by asking $2000.00?

$3000.00 sounds about right, they are about $4500- $5000 new, depending on where you buy it.. Anyone interested in my john deere??

If I had $2,000 and could pick it up I definitely would be, but I just bought a Scag Tiger Cub and am that much in debt. I would recommend advertising it in the Auto&RV magazine. For $2,000 it would be gone in less than a week. Now advertising the cheapest is $20, but if you want it sold it is WELL worth it. I wish I could buy now but I can't so Good Luck!

They are rgreat mowers, but you may be a little high on it. I bought my hd75 for 1500 with only 600 hrs, but i got a good deal. You could probably get 15-1800 for it.

I have one HD75, and was looking for a 2nd. But without grass to mow, funds are dwindling.
If it ever rains and picks back up, I might be interested.

I paid $1500 for mine a couple of years ago. Only difference, it has a 48" deck.
