I have a pretty new Troy-Built TB5ET weedeater that needed fuel lines. I bought 5 feet of vinyl tubing at ACE hardware and hooked them up identically to my other weedeater that is the same model. The problem is that it wont get very much feul in the brand new primer i bought. Sometimes it will start at high speeds w/out throttle and will run for about 15 seconds. Please help.

Napa can get the replacement fuel lines of the right type and size, we buy the complete rolls though.

Two things to check....be sure you got correct line going to carb and vent line to primer. If you took that primer off it is location sensitive on Echo. It is easy to get it 180 degree out of position. But it may be line that is too small. I guess you checked fuel filter?

Thanks for the help.. turns out fuel line was either too big or too small, I ordered some correct lines from some company over the internet. Fuel filter was ok by the way.
