is there a truck to pulling the harness off of here? It’s on an exmark. I thought you just pull it straight down but it doesn’t budge. I’m afraid to break the plastic clip.

Take a wide chisel and push down on the leading edge of the connector or tap the handle of said chisel with a hammer

IDK 'bout no wide chisel, I just use a big flat blade screwdriver and tap straight down.
They normally do just pull straight off, but ...
    Check fer overheating/corrosion.
Use a bit of grease on the contacts when ya slap it back on.
What happened to yer battery hot/charging wire ?

The middle wire you can’t see but once I disconnected it you could see it. I didn’t even realize there was one on there before that lol.
