I am looking into getting a tool box for the truck and was wondering what the best brand out there is? I want something that will last and truly weather proof! I'd appreciate your 2 cents.

    Oh, Weather Tech, Kobalt...

Depends on how much. On my old truck, I had a cheapo $100 diamond plate box from Pep-boys that was weather resistant and did the job. It was cheapy though, and sometimes took a bit of convincing to open.

Nowadays, there are so many options when it comes to boxes. There's the traditional, low profile, the boxes on the sides and the boxes above the bed on the sides.

Search online and you'll find too many results to know what to do with. Spend a little money on any brand and you probably won't be disappionted.

I have a Delta diamond plated tool box on my pickup. It has 4 years of abuse and still looks pretty good. Its holding up well and all. Except for the crease and dent from a load of sand I hauled a while back.

Weather Guard is what I meant, not Weather Tech.

weather guard or Rawson Koenig. I have never had luck with a Delta lasting more than about a year with any kind of abuse aka normal wear and tear for us.
