What produces the best stripes...A true rear stripe kit that goes behind mower. Or a the rear anti sclap/stripe rollers on deck. Or does it even matter?

They both work well. The one on the deck is better for the simple fact is works as a anti scalp as well.

If your deck is raised high enough that the rear rollers arent hitting the ground, would it still really be striping?

We ran rubber striping kits (sort of like a mud guard), great stripes, then changed to rollers, better striping but when loading mower onto the trailer, depending on the operator, they could get damages. We ran a few mowers w\o kits, and if the operator knows how to cut, the lawn will stripe great.
