Not sure what your abilities are, but I would browse lawnsite and hit the link that shows 'www' at the bottom of people's posts to get ideas of what you like and don't like. If you are willing to spend money, $299 will get you 3-5 pages started with a design company. Check out http://www.buddy-systems.com and give them a call to get started. Tell him Tim from Envision sent you.

    Good luck!!

One of the best ways to show your pressence for free is to add the URL to your signature on forums such as this one.

Web Robots/Spiders come in and search forums for new stuff to add.

Go to google, search for your name, and if you posted enough, bingo, your in..

    Hi George,

I posted a few minutes ago to your other quesiton about search engines. I had not found the link to your site at that time so I will start with the comment that I checked your meta tags on your home page only and they looked fine. That comment relates to my other post.

As far as your site goes. I think you are doing just fine with it It looks like it has a lot of good info. You have a good selection of colors. You layout is a little unique but has a nice appearance. You have some nice photos on there. All in all I think you are doing fne. It looks like the pages you are working on are going to be the things that customers would like to see.

The only negatiive I see, and I would not worry about it at this point is it looks like you have used FrontPage's hover buttons. There are a lot of people who think they are one of the worst things in Frontpage because someone viewing your site with Earlier versions of Netscape Navigator will see nothing but grey and it can actually cause their computer to lock up. I don't think there are too many people using Netscape any more. Maybe when you have everything done visit one of the script services such as www.dynamicdrives.com or www.hotscripts.com and look for a little free program called mighty mouseover machine. It will make some pretty cool buttons that won't mess up anything. Of course if you want to get fancy there is always www.flashbuttons.com

There was another comment I had, but I have forgotten what it was. Hope I helped you a little.
