Turf Tiger 2 or JD z994r (Have to decide by tomorrow morning)

    Of course, the striping kit was $450 and the weight kit was an additional $80.
    The salesman told me the weight kit was to improve hillside stability. Also, he said the original TT handled slopes better than the TT2 that's why Scag now offers the weight kit, to bring it closer to the original TT.

    Can anyone who has run both a TT and TT2 confirm what the salesman said -- that "the original TT handled slopes better than the TT2"? I am thinking about replacing my TT with a TT2, and since much of my mowing is on hills this might be a reason to delay the replacement. I note that the scag website does not show a weight kit as an accessory for the TT2 https://scag.com/turftigerII.html#accessories although some dealers' websites show weights that they claim to be oem.

    I think about the only thing that would make the older version better if possible, is because it has smaller tires and a slightly lower COG.
