I went to pull the snow blade off the TT today and put the deck back on and the mower would not drive foward or backward! I immediately thought it must be the pump and or wheel motor (what a great way to start the season!) but as I looked at it more, I noticed the little swivels(balljoints) that control the hydros movements are kinda corroded and are not moving at all, they are totally seized up! I had a problem with these when I first bought it, the controls were very stiff and in neutral it would slowly roll backwards, they fixed it by putting some oil on these balljoints. I found the part numbers in the Exmark parts manual, anyone know what these cost each? I am going to replace them all, total of 4. Since they are regular 3/8" thread, wouldnt a hardware store have these? even when they operate like they should, my TTs controls are pretty stiff, is anyone elses like this? will new balljoints fix this as well? If not anyone got a fix for these stiff controls? Thanks
