Is 17 HP enough for a 48 TTHP pulling a sulky or Proslide?
I got one, pulls it great. Have the mulching deck and it does a great job as well.
Go for it, I absolutely love it.
I weigh 210, what about you? what sulky do you have?
I have the Exmark stand on
I'm 155. I do have a friend that has the same exact mower and he's 6'4 and 220, pulls him fine.
I'd test it out first if I were you.
I have the same mower and sulky as above. I installed the weight kit on the front. Helps keep the front wheels on the ground.
That stand on weighs 55 lbs. Is it hard to lift to the hanger? Does the single wheel leave a track mark?
I never use the hanger. The stand on is either on, or it's off. It is heavy, but you get used to it.
It is plenty. You will need the weight kit if mowing hills. I have Pro One sulky with dual caster wheels. Expensive but worth it.
i had a proslide on a 15 hp 48" offbrand w/b, pulled fine. i now have one on my tthp, i think i have a 19 horse though. i bought iot used and the kawi isnt marked.
