    Never repower a push mower yet except 22156 And did that myself. They go dump if engine blows. Repower various Walks at above prices.

    Dealers charge $100 to do a hydro fluid change. So imagine repower on a push at least that or more.

    Going to attempt a 240 Command Kohler on 22290 this Winter. Would seem a waste to put 200 on the 30 w/the 240 avail.

    Have you tried putting Gators on since you changed the engine?

    Comes with Gators. Are there other blades for the 30’s?

    Yeah there were some gator blades made for the 30 that were pretty nice. I think they were G5's? They're too much mass for the stock engine to turn and keep moving. But they leave a nice cut and keep the deck from bogging down when side discharging.

    Sorry. I was referring to the stock blades. All of mine have a serrated sail. Is that what you were referring to?

    No these are oregon blades there a little thicker and wider, I'll snap a photo in the morning;)
