What's the easiest way to turn off a HW controller, from the app and faceplate? I'm too lazy to read the manual BTW, that's what you guys are for

Smack it with a hammer. That should turn it off.

How do you mean turn it off? Turn off the smart watering, or turn it off for x days? If you want to stop watering all together you can suspend the watering until a specified date. If you wanted to stop smart watering, you could disconnect it from wifi, then it will water as programmed, or as programmed with the lastest smart watering modification (I never did get clarification on that).

Turn off as you would turn a conventional controller to the "off" position with the dial. Mainly asking this question for customer use, the suspend water days might screw with their minds

Yea, it’s not that easy, at least as of winterizing season. They can always unplug it, when they’re ready to water again they can just plug it back in and it should automatically connect and make adjustments to the current weather situation.

You delete the start times. No Start times = never runs.

Under "Zones", click "program start times", go to each start time and click the trash can?

Unfortunately, there is no dial or off position. I have one of these controllers. I usually go into the app and do the "suspend all zones". But I have also unplugged it when I'm in a hurry.

I love this controller, but this is a pet peeve of mine. Hunter needs to put in an OFF switch. This is just ridiculous that it doesn't have one, but no surprise since it was originally designed by IT people not irrigators.

Hoping the next generation is much more contractor and user-friendly.
