What types can and can't I use for building a waterfall? I am doing a repair on a concrete pond and I have only ever used rubber liners without concrete. A guy I was talking to mentioned something with an A-something but I didn't quite catch it. Any input appreciated.

I'm not aware of any type of cement you could use for pond construction that wouldn't contain lime (that doesn't mean that there's no such product out there though). It's the lime that you need to be mindful of, as it can raise the ph in your pond to unhealthy levels.

You can buy special pond-safe coatings that will seal cement and concrete. You can buy products like that at Aquaart.com for example.
