Do to our severely cold winter this year in the south, the broadleaf weeds are pretty bad this year. I normally fertilize with just a good southern grass fertilizer. This year I just purchased 20 bags of Hi-Yield Weed and Feed which combines a Trimec complex of three post-emergent herbicides with a 15-0-10 lawn fertilizer for effective broadleaf weed control while nurturing your lawn. For use in Bahia, Bermuda, Bentgrass, Bluegrass, Centipede, Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass, St aug and Zoysia, Weed and Feed controls Chickweed, Plantain, Henbit, Spurge, Dandelion, and dozens more. The directions say Apply Weed and Feed to moist lawn using a rotary spreader and do not water in until an additional 48 hrs. I'm a little nervous about burn. I have always watered in my fertilizer or put out right before a good rain. Any thought or opinions?
