Hello everybody,
I picked an old lawnboy out of the trash to see if i could get it running. All it took was a carb cleaning and it's as good as new. Trying to determine if there is enough value in this machine to make it worth selling, or if i should just offer it for free on the neighborhood FB page. I know some of the old lawnboys have some collector value, but there is no model/sticker on this machine, and i wasn't able to identify it on google.

Well...
I know from my experience selling on FB, "as is" you can probably get $50 maybe $60.
Or sharpen up the blade...
Check the oil and if it's dark black change it.
Then you should be able to get $80 for it.

They are very handy to have for mowing ditches, steep inclines, etc. due to their light weight and never having to worry about the engine starving for oil when operating at sharp angles. (I'll bet it would become your favorite push/wb mower. Will run nicely on dino 2 cycle 32:1 or better yet synthetic 2 cycle at 32:1 or thinner if good quality lubricant.)

Oh I didn't know they ran mixed fuel, I wouldn't mess with it then.

I miss the smell of someone running a LawnBoy with a little too much oil in it cutting some real thick damp grass.
Oddly I also like the smell of 2-4-d in a fresh pallet of granular fert.
