I took the advice given to me a few weeks ago and put a palette at the front of my trailer (16x7x4) to unload leaves. With a full load of both whole and chopped leaves, it came out amazingly clean.

I had my truck in 2wd and just spun the tires. The guy at the yard, used the backhoe to pull the load out.

Do any of you guys ever have a traction problem? I didn't try 4x4, but I could see traction being tough.

Depends if they are wet or sat for a while (2 days or more). I find if the leaves sit they stick to the floor and to each other and makes it harder to get out. I do use 4 wheel drive if I have a full load. If it is a partial I use 2 wheel. Never the less I get them suckas out. Usually never takes more than 5 min total unless Im shootin the sh** with the other LCO's. One of the best meeting places to pass along information or picking up extra jobs another LCO did not want.
