upgrade to skid steer?

    I agree with most of what you're saying except the part about resale value remaining higher on a skid steer vs. tractor. I feel that demographics can play a large part in that equation. As skid steers can be noted as more useful on larger construction jobs and if your area is not noted for a high need for skids then homeowners or acreage owners may be willing to pay a premium for a used tractor. There are many variables and each person must look at things carefully from their own perspective. It can swing both ways. In my area folks are scared of used skid steers due to hard usage and expensive repairs while tractors go at a premium. Again, just looking at things out my back door.

    The resale on tractors is rather high , a john deere 750 with a loader 4 wheel drive cost around $11,000 new in 1985 . A used one today are selling around $ 8000

    What is the difference between a hi-flo and "regular" model?

    High flow allows you to use more attachments
