    Anyone use urea fertilizer on his or her lawn? I think I got carried away, I’ll be mowing in December.

    Yeah, I've used it a time or two, but it was in mid-November and not in mid-May (for my Ohio valley area)! Of course, if mowing is your spring-time hobby... and you didn't burn the dickens out of your lawn by now, you should be in good shape (in more ways than one...). Of course, getting ample rain 'til its ran its course will/should make you a long-term happy homeowner... 'Cos it's been my experience that high nitrogen application(s) and havin' hot dry conditions do not mix very well. Well, unless you like brown grass that is.

    I also overdid it once with urea - the stuff I used was almost 100% nitrogen, as compared to most fertilizers that are only 10% or so - easy to burn. One handful each killed most of my young pine trees.
