I am going to give a mulching bid to a current lawn customer this week, they will most likely need about 2 yards total. my question is, i have this old gear driven murray with the mowing deck removed, and a small 10 cubic foot tow behind yard cart. Should i use the old tractor and trailer for transporting mulch, or will it look beyond disgrace? the murray is in perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition, not one scratch, and the paint glows, so it doesn't look bad. i was just wondering, use it or not?

There is only one reason to use or not.

Will it make the job more profitable, quicker (to turn another job).
If so then use it, you should not care what others think, worry about what you think. JMO

I use my Cub Cadet for my mulch jobs.

Yeah, use it if it will make the job quicker and easier.

I use mine if I'm in a situation where I have to transport mulch on-site.

Why two with your main mower when you don't have to?
