I am looking to purchase a used walk-behind mower for my business. I have found a Exmark 52" Metro HP Walk Behind Mower with Sulky for $1850. I was wondering if that was a good deal and if there was any kind of "Black Book" for lawnmowers. Thanks for the help.

Oh by the way, the mower has a 17HP Kawaskaki engine. Mower was used by a small lawnmowing company that had 15 yards.

Thats what i bought last year about this time and it was used quite a bit. I paid $ 1200 for it and I had to put a little money in it right after that for problems I didnt see. Mine was a "2000" model so it was 4 years old when I bought it....just look it over real good and make sure it doesnt leak oil or hydro fluid. Also pull off the cover over the deck and see what kind of shape the pulleys are in and check that they have no wobble in them.
