Sprayed this so we won't have to trim in spring. Now look at this.:(

No other herbicides put on adjacent areas. Why one kind of weed raging out of control?

Your post isn't very clear. You sprayed this in the spring? As in last spring?

Or when when was it applied?

    At what rate?

Did you use NS, MSO, or COC?

Have you identified what that weed is?

Was that area green/ actively growing when you applied the Imazapyr?

Common burmuda going like crazy....april spray.mso 13oz/acre and imaz 6oz/acre.....there are two kinds of weeds in my world...broad leaf and grassy...these are broad leaf. I will do a treatment of pre-m plus a few other things and knock it down.

Austin is like a whole nother place.
Did you spray this because you did not want to mow it?
    Too steep for you?
Do you just like brown grass?
Is this really chemical mowing--cheaper and easier than actual mowing.
What is your favorite product for chemical mowing of slopes too steep to mow?
What about soil stabilization? Water erosion of soil? Wind erosion and dust in dry weather?

    Looks like lots of dandelions.

We must live in different worlds. There are three kinds of weeds in my world. Grassy, broadleaf, and sedges. I'm glad you can at least identify a broadleaf weed from grass. Good luck

I'd cut it with the deck in transport and call it a day.

Took my first shot at the runaway thistle since it doesn't look like we are going to
    get a deep freeze.

Using simazine mso msm and RU....combination. Hope I don' end up needing to mow it. I sprayed some of it with final and it stopped the growth. Temperatures are between 50 and 70.

    Ed,
Can you clarify exactly what your question is?

You used Imazapyr aka "Groundclear","Brushkiller" and you're surprised by the results? IF it ever comes back I suggest a true PGR. If the price isnt right on the job Id pass.
