I have an outdoor grill island with a stucco finish. The stucco is peeling and I have scraped most of the stucco off. I am thinking about using cultured stone to cover the exterior surface. I want to a charcoal cultured stone that is layered in which you see no mortar joints. Something that will blend in with the wall material in the picture below. I am attempting to do this myself to save money. This is my first attempt in installing this type of stone. Please provide me some tips on installing cultured stone on this type of surface. If someone has pictures of this type of work, please post them. The island is about 60 sq. ft. There are other photos in the thread http://www.lawnsite.com/showthread.php?t=232156
