If I wipe down my trailer with some fluid film on a rag will this harm it in any way? Will this add to the rust protection? How much crap will stick to the trailer if I wipe the fluid film in, not just spray it on?

    Hi Jeff,

Using the Fluid Film and rubbing it in like a wax will certainly help protect your trailer. By rubbing it in, nothing should stick to the surface afterwards. If you have an old oxidized paint job, it will actually bring the paint right back out.

I hope that answers your questions.

I use Fluid Film for everything about my homestead. The JD garden tractor gets a full spray down on every area that has flat black paint. NO RUST AND LOOKS AS DARK AS THE DAY IT WAS MANUFACTURED. The 54" deck gets a shot after each mowing. Really keeps the gunk off the deck for the most part. 54" front blade looks like the day I bought it. I waxed my dad's older Chev truck and really sprayed a couple areas that have surface rust. I looked awesome. The only time I get nervous is when I can't find a full can. It is the best!!!
