What is the valve adjustment procedure for the 17 hp Kawasaki??
I just done 2 of them a little while back and I believe that they were .005 for both the intake and the exhaust. They have a compression release on the exhaust valve so you will need to turn the engine a little past top dead center to get it off compression release. Do one Cly at a time. You will find a set screw in the end of the adjustment on each valve. That is a locking screw and will have to be loosened before you can set the clearance between rocker and valve. Be sure to replace the gaskets on the valve covers.
