If I contract with a nursery, can I get a better price on mulch, topsoil, etc..?
Right now I pay the regular retail price. If I can contract with them, how do I approach them without looking like a jacka.. There is a particular nursery that I want to work with. Thanks in advance for any info.

you don't need a contract per say. Just go in and ask if they offer wholesale pricing or discounts for contractors. I set up with different nurseries. I have my favorites but when I need something near a job I'll to the closest.

I agree with the above. YOU are the asset. Spread the love.

And, there's absolutely no reason for you not to ask for contractor pricing. You're a contractor.
