Visitor Counters may be like fuzzy dice on mirrors

    Ever notice that some websites still have visitor counters on them?

    Reminds me the big fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror of an old Chevy Impala.

    Maybe its because I like things organized, and space put to good use.

    I'm glad that web stats programs can tell me my visitor numbers instead of putting a counter on the marquee page of the website.

    I noticed a few counters this week on a photography site, a landscape site, and an arborist site. Anyhow, they seem out of place these days.

    I still have one on mine and the code changed so it even says I need to update the code. My site has not been changed in years but I will agree it looks out of place. My son just started web design class in middle school so I am going to let him redo it
