Walk-behind mowers??

    How difficult is it to operate, w/b's what kinda controls does it have, is it easy to operate on hills??

    toro with the "T" bar very easy to use i just tuaght a new employee to use it in about 5 minutes he was running it pretty good

    Mine squeals tires easy, I love that gear-drive 15hp Kohler 5-speed 48" fixed deck w/ a T-bar.
    A velke is essential if you like speed, 6+ mph maybe more.

    Might slow it down some in the turns, unless you got feet that stick to the velke like glue, it does like to fishtail, yes, it's that fast.
    btw watch it if the blades are engaged, turn too hard and too fast and the Wb will tilt on its side and too far a tilt and the blades scalp, especially rough on pavement but not much fun on turf either :laugh:

    on that fixed deck toro would you say that after using if for some time you wished you had the floating deck or are you happy with the fixed? I am going to buy one soon and I don't change heights much so I am just pondering this. Thanks for any input...:)
