Walkbehind Blades

    I was looking at a blade to put on the front of my walkbehind. I would mostly use it for snow, mayb for gravel....etc at other points. Do you think it will work since it is a belt drive? any drawbacks to this?

    I don't see a problem with it being belt drive, but you may want to check on some spiked tires and some addon weights.

    I just don't see a W/B being heavy enough to have the traction to really push anything.

    Will put a strain on the tranny and will slip hydro will be better.

    thats what i thought. i was just browsing ebay and saw an auction for one and wondered if anyone else had ever used one. thanks anyway.

    Suggest you send a note to FrankenScagMachines (aka) Bushhogboy Eric Canady. I believe he made one for his Scag WB a couple of years ago...even posted a pic of it too.
