I would like to know what the 1st years they started to put 26hp EFI in walkers? Also if you could replace the 26hp EFI to a standred 25HP carb?

Introduced in 2000. Revamped in 2001 (Moved fuel pump outta the gas tank.)

Dont know if you could switch it to a 25 carb, but I dont see why not.

Yes, you will have to replace the upper and lower wiring harness, not to mention a few other things. I can't remember if they have the same exhaust set up... Probably not, which means some of the hopper underneath (baffling, muffler shields) may be different. Still worth it considering the price of that EFI 26 :dizzy:

If u require an engine kohler has many options ** mini block
** short motor 25,26,27,28 all the same
** long motor [ only comes with part of the efi system][this will be available soon ]
** long motor fully dressed with efi
