Joe, we love the Walkers. I guess everyone has an opinion and you have to feel comfortable with your purchase especially when you are spending close to 10k for a mower. We have not had any issues with the Walkers clogging especially since the blower wheel diameter was increased a few years ago and has become standard equipment on any new Walker. Why don'y you demo a Walker and then see which is better for you.

Eric Thanks for the input. My first new car was less than the price of theses Walkers. Anyway the Dealer closet to me will sell me a 42 walker for $9900 with the 23 kohler and 10900 for one with 26 EFI. He claims the gas I'LL save with the EFI would be worth it. What do you think. Remember my regular Lawn mower shop only sells Exmark but I think I want the Walker. The other I can do is relace the motor and and deck on my machine but i think that will run me around $4000.

Joe, I cannot speak on the benefits of the EFI Kohler. I am old school and dislike any mower that depends on a computer to run. I hate getting locked into the dealer because they have a program that interrogates the ecm or provides input into engine management. I have owned eleven Walkers since 1998 and most if not all of my machines obtain between four and five thousand hours with minimal parts replacement. Of the parts that require replacement, most are wear items like bushings, tires, belts, etc. Yes, Walkers are maintenance intensive but they are solid machines that do a great job of cutting and bagging. Just my opinion. Good luck whatever you purchase.
