I have a Walker 48 GHS with 26FI, it has about 200 hours on it, I just noticed the rim is cracked at 3 of the lugs. Has anyone seen this before, is it a walker problem?

    Thanks

Yes, seems they have a problem with that. They were supposed to have fixed it, but maybe not good enough yet. I have had to replace 2 rims on an older mower from cracking and my dad has had to replace 2 also. May check into how tight the lug bolts are too. My new mower has not cracked rims yet, but I have never had the wheels off yet either.

this has been an issue for the past 2 seasons. I have even seen replacement rims crack after replacing them.

Make sure you don't over torque the lugs.

Yeah I have seen this before. A friend of mine had bought a used Walker that had heavy washers welded onto the rims where the lugs went through due to the rims cracking.
