Guys i can’t get my mower to start from the switch. I’ve got voltage to the red wires to the switch. But when I activate the switch the yellow and purple wires don’t get voltage. The yellow wire goes to the start relay and the purple wire powers the fuel shut off at the carb. However I can run a jumper wire to the yellow and purple and the mower runs fine. I thought I had a bad switch. But it’s doing the same w a new switch. Any ideas?

I'd start by checking continuity on each of the wires (yellow and purple) as it would seem there is either a bad connector or broken wire. Good luck. From the looks of your picture there are splice connectors involved which are known to fail.

Joe that’s exactly where it was at. Bad connection on the spliced wire.
Thanks
