Hi, I am new to this site, however have been doing lawn maintenance on and off for around 12 years. I have a Walker with the 26EFI and a 48GHS, does anyone have the split tail wheels? If so do you like them? I think they would handle the weight of a 9.5 bushel catcher full of damp fescue better and would like to try some unless they really suck, they are kind of expensive and this will sound cheesy but its me, I like the way they look. Let me know if you have experience with them.

The dual tail wheels will help with the weight distribution of the 9.5 bushel hopper, but you will add more overall weight to the mower, and reduce your turning radius. I have an JD f-680 front mower with the (MCS) materials collection system now removed, the dual tail wheels are great for wide area's,hills but are cumbersome in tight area's
